Structure-activity-relationships for a series of insecticidal pyrazole carboxamide compounds that were active against Lepidopteran pests will be discussed. Screening enabled systematic SAR studies leading to improved potency and spectrum on Lepidopteran pests. Chemistry did not meet potency criteria due to potency plateau and was deprioritized.
