Entomologist U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Washington, District of Columbia
The Pesticide Re-evaluation Division is responsible for registration review of conventional pesticides. Each registered pesticide is reviewed at least every 15 years to ensure that each pesticide can carry out its intended function(s) without creating unreasonable adverse effects to human health and the environment. Any changes that have occurred since the last registration decision are assessed to determine whether the pesticide still satisfies the statutory standard for registration. This presentation will provide an overview of the Pesticide Re-evaluation Division's work and process for completing registration review.
