In October, the ESA Governing Board approved the launch of a Pilot Section for educators which could eventually result in a bylaws vote by the membership. FIT: Formal and Informal Teaching, is a new Section of ESA dedicated to supporting those with classroom teaching responsibilities (K-12, College, and University) and those who teach informally through extension, outreach, and science communication, as well as researchers who focus on pedagogical methods integrating entomology. Join us to learn about milestones for FIT to become an official Section and to discuss your ideas to make the Section FIT you.
