Dieamondback moth, Plutella xylostela is a serious pest of almost all cruciferous crops. This pest has developed resistance to various chemical and bilogical insecticides. Frequent use of same insecticide renders possibility for developing resistance. In the present program, several biological and chemical insecticides will be evaluated for controlling diamondback larvae. Any additional effective insecticide will be used in the diamondback moth managememnt program to avoid or delay in the developmemnt of resistance in diamondback moth.
