Federal regulations covering the occupational hazards of arthropods - exposure and control

Interactions with arthropods in the workplace result in thousands of recordable injuries and illnesses in the US every year. Yet, these occupational hazards are scantly covered in the US regulations and laws. This presentation covers the exposure scenarios that workers may face in various industries and methods that employers can use to recognize, evaluate and control these occupational hazards. Additionally, I will discuss the current state of the federal regulations and the potential future states for law making.
