In an increasingly dynamic world, interdisciplinarity is crucial, especially concerning scavenging insects and their ephemeral resources. These insects serve as ecological indicators and ecosystem engineers while also contributing to human health, urban sustainability, and public health policy. Scavenging ecologists and forensic entomologists join to share ideas, methodology, and conceptual frameworks.
