Modern biotechnology is providing a number of tools for the agricultural sector. Amongst these tools can be found products to enhance farmers' abilities to control insects. This presentation will provide an overview of how the US government regulates products of modern biotechnology for agricultural uses with a particular focus on the role played by the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Pesticide Programs.
