Invasive arthropod species are a major threat to California’s agricultural and natural resources. Biological control is a key component of sustainable pest management programs for urban, natural, and agricultural ecosystems. This presentation will (1) provide an overview of current biological control research projects targeting stink bugs, wood-boring beetles, moths, and (2) highlight how the intersection between entomological research and policy has created opportunities for dynamic stakeholder partnerships and pest management advances in California.
