Modeling processes that involve insect behavior is the topic of this symposium, with focus on behavioral mechanisms and their effects on modeling. Research on thermoregulatory behavior, interspecies interactions, and vectored-disease systems will be presented, and the symposium will conclude with discussion to compare systems, modeling approaches, and results.
