The species relationships among Anax dragonflies have only recently been explored with molecular data. We attempt to resolve species level relationships using 20 KN of molecular data generated from targeted enrichment probes. We will specifically explore the monophyly of new world and old world groups as well as the sister group to anax. From these data we can assess the overall classifcation for the group and begin to explore evolutionary trends such as migration and biogeography.
