The CDC has created and distributed bottle bioassay kits to assist mosquito control programs in their insecticide resistance monitoring. While an Excel spreadsheet is included in the kits to complete the calculations needed, analysis and interpretation of bottle bioassay data is still sometimes confusing. We have created a free online app using RShiny to intake data from the bottle bioassay and simply analyze and interpret the results. The app will also provide simple guidance on how to proceed with mosquito control based on the results of the analysis.
